Most grocery stores sell gift cards to other stores and many people wonder “Does Whole Foods Sell Gift Cards to other stores?” The answer is “yes” Whole Foods sells gift cards to a many other stores. Usually you can find them on a rack near the customer service desk, but my local store recently moved the rack to the frozen food aisle. Years ago Whole Foods only sold their own gift cards, but now Whole Foods sells Amazon, Visa gift cards as well as gift cards to other stores like Apple, Chipotle and Lululemon. Why is this good news? Because there are a number of credit cards that offer cash back category bonuses on grocery store purchases.

What Credit Card Should I Use to Buy Gift Cards at Whole Foods
You can maximize your credit card rewards earnings by using a credit card that offers a cash back bonus when buying gift cards at Whole Foods or other grocery stores. There are many credit cards that offer such a bonus, but some of my favorites are listed below:
- Chase Amazon Credit Card (5% cash back at grocery stores)
- Chase Sapphire Rewards (3x points at grocery stores)
- Chase Freedom (5x cash back on rotating categories)
- Discover IT Card (5% cash back on rotating categories)
- American Express Gold Card (4x MR points at grocery stores)
- Citi Shop Your Way Card (Offers frequent category bonuses)
Whole Foods Sell Visa Gift Cards
Yes, Whole Foods sells Visa gift cards. See the photo below of the Visa gift cards at Whole Foods. However, they only sell fixed denomination gift cards ($25, $50, & $100) and not variable load. Also, an alternative to Visa gift cards are “Happy Gift Cards,” such as Happy Moments, Happy Parent, Happy Birthday, etc., and they recently started carrying “Pack & Go” gift cards, which can be used at AirBnB, Chevron, Southwest Airlines, and GrubHub. These cards offer more flexibility as you can use them at a handful of different stores, and some versions act like a credit card when swiped at the store, meaning that Happy gift cards can be used to buy gift cards at retailers that accept Happy cards.
Does Whole Foods Sell Lululemon Gift Cards?
Yes. Whole Foods sells Lululemon gift cards, which is great news because Lululemon gift cards are not sold at all grocery or convenience stores.
Whole Foods Sells Amazon Gift Cards
Yes. Amazon gift cards can be purchased at Whole Foods. This makes a lot of sense given that Whole Foods is owned by Amazon. In fact, sometimes you can purchase other Amazon products like Kindle, Kindle Fires, Echo Dots, Echo Shows, etc. at Whole Foods.
