If you are a Truist Bank customer you can get for free notary services at any Truist Brach location. All you need to do is call the branch before you go to verify a notary is available (some branches will allow you to make an appointment) and bring your Truist ATM card and ID.
How To Get Free Truist Notary Services
To get your documents notarized for free at Truist you should first call your nearest branch. You can find a list of branches here. When I went to the branch to get my documents notarized there was just one employee with a notary license available, so they told me to come in at a time when that individual was available.
When you go to the branch make sure to bring your Truist ATM Debit card as they will check to make sure that you are a current customer before notarizing your documents. It’s also a good idea to bring a form of identification such as a drivers license, passport, military ID card, or birth certificate as the notary will require identification when notarizing documents.
Tips Before You Go
Call the branch and make an appointment if possible. Not all staff at the branch are notary publics. In fact, once I just walked in without making an appointment and the manager told me that I was lucky because he only had two staff members who could notarize documents, but if I had come in 30 minutes later they would not have been available.
As with all notary services make sure you bring multiple forms of identification (e.g. drivers license, birth certificate, social security card, passport).
We have just received our final papers for our loan modification.. When I spoke to someone from that department I asked if you had a mobile notary as I was told you did. She said to email
mobilenotary@suntrust.com. The loan is for my father and I am his only
child and POA .My dad is 93 years old and I really did not want to take him out of the house in this weather. So I was hoping I could get the services of one of your mobile notaries. The loan number is 300-188-0388.. These papers I have to be received by you no later than January 17 th. . So this is very time sensitive. Please respond ASAP.

Truist Bank (in Vineland, NJ) will only notarize banking documents for banking customers. Please update your information.
Truist in Newberry, SC, that has 2 Notary’s, but does not notarized “LEGAL” papers. Or at least that is what the teller told me yesterday. I’ve banked with Truist/ BB&T for over 40 years, at that same location since it was built. Why else do you notarize a paper except for legal reasons? I have always gotten papers notarized there, not any more. I can drive 20 miles down the road to another Truist that will notarize.
